FundRaising

All Fundraising activities carried out by a CBRMHA team or team member must be approved by CBRMHA in accordance with our associations fundraising policy.


The intent of this policy is not to discourage the very worthwhile initiatives of our members, but rather to maintain a level of control over such activities in order to ensure coordination and fairness of the activities of the many teams in our association.

Fundaising Policy Guidelines

CBRMHA wishes to clarify and state clearly its policy with respect to fundraising activities carried on by its members in the name of the association.

  1. All player registrations must be paid in full if a team wishes to fundraise.
  2. Any team attending invitational or all Newfoundland tournaments that require an overnight stay are eligible to fundraise for player cost only.
  3. Costs incurred by coaches of the travelling team may be offset by team fundraising if the majority of the parents on the team are in agreement.
  4. CBR Minor Hockey Association will not make loans toward tournaments or registration fees for Invitational Tournaments. Sole responsibility of all registration fees lies with the traveling team.
  5. CBRMHA requires details of all proposed fundraising plans for review. No fundraising can occur without approval from the board.
  6. Time frames to fundraise will be given to travelling teams based on submitted fundraising plans. All teams will receive equal amount of time to fundraise.

Fog Devils FUNdraising Challange

For those CBR players who sold more than 10 tickets, congratulations,you will receive 2 free ticket vouchers for an upcoming Fog Devils game.
