On Sun, March 28, the Growlers won gold in the Female Under 15 house league divsion hosted by St. John's Caps. The Growlers won 1-0 in the championship game with the lone goal coming from Stephanie Purchase in TSN type highlight play. The Growlers also received stellar goaltending from Kathleen Sullivan. It was a great team effort, especially since power-forward Sarah Wicks was out of the line-up with a lower body injury. The Growlers lineup includes 5 girls from CBR who played a key role in the win and the successful season - Maddison Andrews and Makala Ingram up front, and Kelsey Hall, Allison Jacobs and Krista Tobin on defence, along with Assistant coach Duke Tobin.
