 The CBR Atom "A" All Stars outscored their opponents 21 - 4 on their way to capturing the Championship Trophy at the Gander Atom "A" Invitational Source for Sports Tournament held Dec 11 - 13.
In the opening game of the tournament CBR defeated the Grand Falls Cataracts by a score of 6-0. Player of the Game was CBR's Ryan Holloway. In other round robin action, CBR were led by Player of the Game - Nathan Lake, in a 6-1 win over the Corner Brook Royals and in the final round robin game, CBR was powered by Player of the Game - Kent Gillingham, in defeating the host Gander Flyers by a score of 3-0.
The Gold Medal Game featured a re-match between CBR and Gander in a loud fan-filled Gander Civic Centre. Championship Player of the Game - Zack Rose slammed the door shut and led the Renegades to the title, defeating the Gander Flyers 6-3.
Members of the Champion Renegades include: Zachary Coates, Zack Rose, Kristian Walsh, Jacob Abbott, Jonathan Toope, Ryan Holloway, Lucas Osmond, Nick Gosse, Nathan Lake, Kent Gillingham, Nathan Tucker, Evan Bursey, Morgan Cole, Noah Lambert, Ethan Stuckless, Liam Piercey, Ryan Tobin, and Jacob Upshall.
Coaching Staff: Head Coach - Chris Lake, Assistant Coaches - Ray Walsh, Robert Rose, Colin Stuckless, Ron Tobin, and Corey Traverse.
